K Viswanath: The Government of India has announced a few minutes ago that veteran filmmaker K Vishwanath achieved the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2016. Information and Broadcasting minister M Venkaiah Naidu has approved his name, suggested by the Dadasaheb Phalke Award committee.

This award is usually given for giving an outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema and strives for the growth and development of it. The award has a Swarn Kamal (Golden Lotus) and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. The filmmaker will be given this award on May 3rd at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, by the President of India.

Since 1965, Vishwanath has made fifty films and he is well known for his strong content. He achieved the Padmashri award in 1992 and so far he received 5 National awards and 20 Nandi awards by the AP government and 10 Filmfare Awards. His film Swati Mutyam was India's official entry to the 59th Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Film category.

The biggest event in Indian film industry is nigh at hand and the unit is wrapping up all the last minute formalities. Yesterday the unit of “Bahubali – The Conclusion” completed censor formalities for the film.

Reports say that the censors gave the film a ‘U / A’ certificate. It is learnt that the censors were quite highly appreciative of the final output. They had praised Rajamouli no end. Now the film is ready in all respects for release. It will hit the big screens on 28th April 2017 globally. It will come in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Directed by Rajamouli the film has Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamanna Bhatia, Nasser and Ramya Krishna in important roles. Music was provided by MM Keeravani. Arka Media are the producers of the film.

The latest viral photo that is doing rounds on Facebook is copy of a registration of a political outfit.

The paper says that a new political party called Nava Bharat National Party was registered in the name of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, resident of Prasashan Nagar in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

This has created a flutter in social media and speculations have begun that NTR has floated this new party to compete with Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena.

Rumors have also begun that this is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu's plan to use NTR as trump card in 2019 general elections to contain the charisma of Pawan Kalyan.

Recently GreatAndhra.com reported that NTR's Team has denied the rumors of NTR campaigning for TDP in 2019. They said he will not indulge in politics at this juncture of his career.

But the latest registration paper that has surfaced in social media is indicating otherwise. It is adding fuel to the rumors about NTR's political plans. But if we closely look at the registration paper, it gives us an impression of FAKE.

NTR doesn't have a residence or office in Prasashan Nagar area. NTR recently built a home near Puri Jagannadh's old office which doesn't fall under Prasashan Nagar area. His office comes under Filmnagar area.

Whether it is FAKE or not, speculations about NTR's political entry in 2019 are gaining ground as Chandrabau Naidu is having tough politically as his own party leaders are making statements against him.

విశాఖపట్నం-అరకు మధ్య రైలు ప్రయాణం ఎంత అద్భుతంగా ఉంటుందో అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. ఆంధ్రా ఊటీగా పిలుచుకునే ఈ అరకు అందాలను వీక్షించడానికి ఎక్కడెక్కడినుంచో పర్యాటకులు వస్తుంటారు. విశాఖపట్నం నుంచి కిరండోల్ పాసెంజర్ రైలుపై సొరంగ మార్గాల గుండా వెళ్తూ తెగ సంబరపడిపోతుంటారు. కానీ సాధారణ రైలు బోగీల్లో ప్రయాణిస్తూ కొండలు, గుహల అందాలను అంతగా ఎంజాయ్ చేయలేకపోతున్నామనే ఫీలింగ్ చాలా మందికి ఉంటుంది. ఇప్పుడు అలాంటి వారికోసం భారతీయ రైల్వే కొత్తరకం రైలు బోగీలను తీసుకొచ్చింది. ‘విస్టాడోమ్’గా పిలిచే ఈ అద్దాల రైలు బోగీల్లోనుంచి ప్రకృతి అందాలను మరింత స్పష్టంగా వీక్షించొచ్చు. సీట్లలో కూర్చొనే అద్దాలలో నుంచి లోయలు, కొండలను చూడొచ్చు...

ఈ విశాఖపట్నం-అరకు ‘విస్టాడోమ్’ బోగీని రైల్వే మంత్రి సురేశ్ ప్రభు ఆదివారం ప్రారంభించారు. భువనేశ్వర్ నుంచి వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా దీనికి పంచజెండా ఊపారు. ఈరోజు విశాఖపట్నం-అరకు మార్గంలో ఈ బోగీతో ప్రత్యేక రైలును ట్రైల్ రన్ వేస్తున్నారు. ట్రైల్ రన్ విజయవంతం అయిన తరవాత మరో బోగీని కలుపుతారు. అయితే ఈ విస్టాడోమ్ బోగీలతో ప్రత్యేక రైలును నడుపుతారా లేక ఈ బోగీలను ఇప్పుడున్న కిరండోల్ పాసెంజర్ రైలుకు కలుపుతారా అనే విషయంపై స్పష్టతలేదు. ఏదేమైనా ఈ బోగీల్లో అయితే పర్యాటకులు ప్రయాణించొచ్చు. ఒక ‘విస్టాడోమ్’ బోగీ తయారీకి అయిన ఖర్చు రూ. కోటి. ఈ ఏసీ బోగీలో 70 శాతం ట్రాన్సపరెంట్ గ్లాసే ఉంటుంది.
