There were some heroic performances right from the first morning where Renshaw buckled down and even dumped all the odds to lay a solid foundation. In spite of a late collapse, a Starc cameo was enough to lift Australia to a decent score of 260 on a treacherous pitch. We found out how good that score was soon enough as Steve O'Keefe routed through India's middle and lower order for a maiden five-wicket haul (six eventually). India were always playing catch-up from there. The pressure of a massive deficit played a part in a below par bowling performance. Once the target got into the mid-400s, it was well beyond the realms of possibility. The O'Keefe show continued as the left-arm spinner went on to scalp twin five-wicket hauls in the match.
